Operating out of 160,000 sq-ft facilities, Ferrybridge Workshops provides a range of heavy engineering services that is unique within the United Kingdom, relying on a bespoke set of machining capability including multiple cranes up to 120 tonne capacity, manual and CNC lathes at up to 17m centres, 4.3m diameter and 100 ton capacity, and the largest horizontal & vertical borers in the UK.

Ferrybridge also provides laser scanning, CMM, balancing and blasting & coating services, reverse engineering of specialist parts including turbine parts, and multi-axis precision machining.

Arrow Butler Castings (ABC) have been operating a foundry specialising in the production of both cast aluminium and rapid prototyping for over 80 years.

Operating from their purpose-built foundry in Chesterfield, ABC’s services include aluminium sand castings, aluminium castings and gravity die castings.

With its on-site CNC turning and milling capabilities, Arrow Butler can machine the foundry’s cast aluminium components and also provide machining services for parts in all grades of steel to a broad spectrum of industries.
